Zohar is an experienced technology entrepreneur and executive. In 2013, Zohar and his co-founder, Adar, developed InstantSearch+ when they realized that they can leverage their search experience to bring state-of-the-art site search to millions of publishers and e-tailers at an affordable cost. In just a few months, InstantSearch+ has been adopted by over a hundred thousand publishers to help their users quickly find what they want on their web sites.
In 2011, prior to founding Fast Simon, Inc (the company behind InstantSearch+), Zohar and Adar co-founded Cloud Power LLC, a global Web search autocomplete service, powering over 10B transactions per month. From 2008 to 2011, Zohar was an EVP at Precise Software, a transaction performance monitoring company. From 1992 to 2007, Zohar served as an executive and officer at Mercury Interactive (Nasdaq: MERQ, acquired by HP). In his 15 year tenure at Mercury, Zohar served as SVP Strategy, VP Products, GM of Application Performance Management (the company’s first business unit), and other product marketing leadership roles.
Throughout his career, Zohar has been the driving force behind over 20 software products that have since been used by millions of users worldwide. Zohar has a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the Technion, Israel, and an MBA from INSEAD, France.
